Delivery FAQ

  • Our food is frozen fresh and will be safe to eat long over 12 months, but texture and moisture will start to degrade past the 3 month mark.

  • No. Our frozen food range is not suitable for PO box delivery.

  • We currently deliver within NSW only.

Check your postcode in the postcode checker to see if your area is covered.

  • We are a small business but our delivery network continues to grow.

If your postcode is not yet available, consider pre-ordering for pick-up, or sending us an email so we can notify you as soon as it is.

  • Each order will be packed into our fun, thermally-insulated bags, ready to delight as a gift, or re-use once the contents are in the freezer.

If you would like certain items packed separately, please make a note of this in your order checkout.

  • Yes.

Our driver will have authority to leave in a safe place if no one is home to receive it. Please add detailed instructions when ordering, if your location requires it.

Your food will arrive frozen and thermally insulated will remain safe to eat as long as it arrives during the delivery window.

It is your responsibility to get it into a freezer ASAP, or defrost in the fridge if intended for consumption over the next 2 days.

Once delivered, Dumps World is not liable for any spoilage or theft.

  • Our Dumps are too delicious to risk on the delivery line.

We tell everyone to get these into a freezer as soon as they would their favourite ice cream - except our dumps are even more heat-sensitive.

Once slightly defrosted, the skins start sticking together and will tear when you try to steam/boil/fry them, spilling all their delicious insides out.

Our noodle packs and frozen soups/congees in the babes range don't have this consideration.

Post Babes Range FAQ

  • There is no set amount you need to eat.

Appetite can vary widely during recovery, especially in the early weeks, and it often changes from day to day.

Some people prefer several small meals throughout the day, while others manage one or two larger meals.

Post Babes portions are intentionally sized so you can heat and eat one serving at a time. This removes the pressure to finish larger portions and avoids the need to store or reheat leftovers if your appetite is unpredictable. Eat what feels right in the moment, without worrying about food safety or waste.

A small number of dishes are offered in larger portions where it makes sense for the style of the meal, but most are designed as simple, single-serve nourishment.

Listen to your body and eat what feels manageable. Recovery is not about eating more than you want, but about eating in a way that feels supportive.

  • Post Babes is designed to support recovery, not to replace every meal you eat. Many people use these meals as their main source of nourishment during the early weeks, while others combine them with home-cooked food or meals prepared by family.

Many find warm soups, broths, and porridges easier when appetite is low.

Think of Post Babes as a dependable, nourishing food you can reach for when deciding what to eat feels hard.

  • That is completely fine. Post Babes meals are designed to sit alongside traditional confinement practices.

Some dishes draw from traditional wisdom, such as silkie chicken soup, but they are prepared as food rather than concentrated herbal formulas.

The quantities used are intentionally gentle so they do not interfere with personalised TCM prescriptions, while still offering nourishment.

As always, follow the guidance of your practitioner if you have specific instructions.

If you are seeing a TCM practitioner, it is best to continue with a formula that has been prescribed specifically for you, based on factors such as birth type, recovery needs, or constitution.

  • Yes. Many people combine these meals with personalised TCM care. Because our food is fully cooked, gentle, and warming, it usually fits well within traditional postpartum frameworks.

Post Babes meals support warmth, digestion, and daily nourishment.

  • No. The weekly structure is a guide, not a rulebook. Bodies recover at different speeds, and your needs may not line up perfectly with the calendar.

You can move between weeks, repeat meals you enjoy, or take things more slowly. The structure is there to support you, not to constrain you.

  • Yes. We know too many choices can be a little overwhelming, so we've put together some bundles to reduce decision fatigue and make it easier to get started.

  • Not necessarily. If you are already a few weeks postpartum, you can begin with the week that feels most appropriate for you.

Many people also return to earlier weeks if they are feeling tired, run down, or simply want something gentler.

Recovery is not linear, and your food does not need to be either.

  • Yes. While Post Babes was created for postpartum recovery, many people find these meals supportive after abdominal, gynaecological or any major surgery due to their warmth, digestibility, and nourishing nature.

If you have specific medical dietary requirements, always follow the advice of your healthcare team.

  • No. These meals are designed to support recovery regardless of how you are feeding your baby.

  • Yes. We recommend reheating all meals until hot.

Warm food is easier on digestion and more comforting during recovery.

  • Yes. Many people order ahead of time so their meals are ready and waiting in the freezer when they get home from the hospital.

    (A great gift idea!)

  • Each meal includes a full ingredient list and allergen information. Please read these carefully before ordering.

If you have severe allergies or are unsure whether a dish is suitable for you, reach out before purchasing.

  • No. Post Babes meals are thoughtfully prepared food designed to support rest and recovery. They are not medical nutrition therapy.

If you have specific medical or dietary needs, please seek guidance from a healthcare professional.
