Why we make our dumps

Dumps, (or dumplings) are bite-sized morsels of deliciousness. Every culture around the world has a filled dough and there's something magical about that.

Dee used to spend the entire day over Chinese New Year in China with her grandparents and parents making dumplings. Each one manning a particular station - rolling, chatting and cooking as we went.

Chinese food gets treated as a cheap category. A quick convenience. Something you order because it's fast, not because it's worth paying attention to.

We reject that entirely.

How to cook them

Pan-fry for crispy golden bottoms. Steam to retain delicacy. Boil for a softer skin.
